Peanut's Story...
Hello and good afternoon everyone....I would like to introduce name is #PeanutBPFF...I would like to share my story with you...well like sooo many other pups....I was surrendered by family to Animal Care and Control of Palm Beach family was moving away...and they couldn’t take me and my siblings with them...sooo they decided to try surrendering us and see what happens...well I was terrified by the thought of not being with the only family I’ve ever known...but what could I do but stay hopeful...well there are angels and in the world and woman named aunt Deb...saw me and my housemate and decided that she would contact a dear friend named aunt Liz...and see if there was any way she would be able to help us...and can you guess what she said? She said yes she would...and yes she could...and she did just Deb...aunt Liz and her sister aunt Mary...came to get us at ACC...we knew by the loving looks in their eyes...and the tender way they spoke...that things were beginning to look better and better...sooo after the forms were filled out...we all walked outside...we said our goodbyes and thank you to aunt Deb...and we got in aunt Liz’s big truck and drove all the way out to the country...when we arrived at Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary...we were very very happy to hear the happy singing of the chickens...ducks and geese...all having a ball in the yard...and then we got to met uncle Steve...he’s aunt Liz’s husband...and he too...has that tender way about him...he gave us both a warm feeling..and we knew things were gonna be just fine...we got new cozy blankets from aunt Deb...and they set up our room so nicely...then they brought us outside..and we met some of their own...and some rescues as well...they all get along so good...and they are well mannered and very happy...we looked at eachother and smiled with relief...I know in my heart...that this family will do their very very best to help us find new homes...if you or anyone you know may be interested in me please don’t hesitate to reach out to aunt Liz...well gotta go...make new friends...thank you for reading my story...thank you for caring...and especially...for sharing...your friend Peanut....woof woof p.s. my friend Penelope has found a loving home...I am hopeful to find my own one day very very soon...woof woof

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Loxahatchee Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Loxahatchee, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Loxahatchee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loxahatchee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loxahatchee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loxahatchee paves the way for another one to be saved.
