Harvey is a great big GENTLEMAN. He is sweet, mild and very affectionate. He gets along with all size dogs. He is probably 80% Rottie and 20%??? Harvey is timid and the home that abandoned him probably was not kind. He warms up in seconds but you can see the apprehension in his eyes at first. He is so well behaved I could not imagine anyone wanting to harm him... but it seems as though they did.

We want a warm, loving family that is a bit low key to scoop up this gentle giant. He is neutered housebroken and UTD on shots. We think he may be 5 to 7 yrs old. Harvey walks well on a leash and has great house manners.
He is up in Cave Creek AZ at our training facility. There are lots of high drive crazy dogs here and he would love to find some PEACE.

If you can foster that would be wonderful as well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a Scottsdale Rottweiler/Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Rottweiler/Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
