10/18/16 ADOPTION PENDING! Millie is a 5 year old white Poodle, weighing about 9 pounds. She is a former commercial breeder dog, so she's timid because everything in a house is new to her. She has completed all her vetting and is ready for her Forever family to spot her and apply to adopt her! Millie's new found favorite spot is on the couch with foster mom. She and her friend Angel the Malti-Poo are best buddies and would like to stay together, but if you have another small dog that likes to cuddle that can help Millie learn about life in a family, that would work, too! We are working on house training, and she has had no leash training as we have a big fenced yard for potty and play. If you would like to apply to adopt Millie, please visit our website, .

About Bongo's Buddies Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We have seen the need to provide more foster home environments for dogs needing a second chance, so our rescue was just founded at the beginning of 2016. We welcome donations to help with the care of our foster dogs, and we also welcome local people interested in fostering or helping us in any way to fill out the volunteer application.

Our Adoption Process...

Upon receiving a completed application, we will contact your two personal references plus your veterinarian, and then schedule a home safety visit with you. We do have all adopters sign an adoption contract and ask for an adoption donation (dependent on the age of the dog) to help defray the costs of vetting the dogs in our care. We prefer to not place our dogs in homes where there are children under the age of 10. You must be able to pick up your dog - we do not use commercial transportation methods.
