Missy is an adorable senior who just turned only 10 years on Dec. 5. She is full of spunk and energy and still loves to play. She weighs about 80#. Missy just came in to rescue with Hercules and has been living in the same environment for about 5 years. But previously she was a family dog and lived with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is delightful, sweet, and affectionate. Like Hercules, she still needs to get some socialization in the outside world. Missy is still on a medical hold as we haven't done everything needed yet. So far she is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She just had a full blood panel and urinalysis and when her results are in we hope to follow up with a dental. She is housebroken and loves being an inside dog. Another perfect collie girl.
Southland Collie Rescue, Inc. (SCR), a non-profit corporation located in the Southern California area, coordinates for several Collie Rescues in the Southland. All of our Collie Rescues find homes for purebred Collies and, when possible, Collie mixes from shelters, from people who have taken in strays, and from owners who can no longer care for their Collie. We foster our rescued Collies in private homes throughout Los Angeles and adjacent counties.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoptions ONLY in Southern California
All of our collies are healthy, altered and current on their vaccinations prior to placement. An application and home visit are required prior to adoption. An adoption donation is requested to cover costs of rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing collies.
