Remi's Story...
Hi There...Remi here and I was adopted as a 2 month old puppy and I'm back because my person didn't have time to properly care for a young pup. I need an adopter who will commit to making me their furever friend. I need daily exercise and play time with my person, plenty of positive reinforcement as I'm learning what you expect of me, and some help with potty training. I will stand by the door when I need to go out but still have accidents inside - sometimes even soon after I've been out. I was only taken out to potty so possibly we didn't spend enough time outside together. But we can work on that. A routine, scheduled meal times and rewards in the form of a treat and/or lots of love and praise when I'm successful will help me a lot. I'm a happy social guy and did well with the children in my home, love car rides, playing fetched and just playing in general. I also did well with the other dog in my home but please introduce me slowly to new dogs as I am sometimes a little timid at first. I need to be included in things - really be a part of your life with all of its ups and downs, activity and quiet times. If this sounds good to you, please come visit me.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date immunizations, nationally recognized microchip and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remi, a Evansville Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
