Dalton's Story...
Name: Dalton

Age: About 1.5 years old!

Status: After a rough past, Dalton is quickly learning to trust again and is making real strides. He is eager for attention, but prefers quiet, more calm environments, and is seeking love and cuddles in the purrfect furever home with other cats.

Likes: Dalton loves snuggles and being pet. While it might take a little time for him to get used to new environments, he certainly knows when it's cuddle time: he'll come hop on your bed at night and meow once quietly for attention. Affectionate and sweet, he has learned to trust us humans again.

Hoping for Friends: Dalton is very interested in his foster mom's cat and has even met dogs. While his furry foster sister isn't much interested in snuggles, we feel Dalton would be happy in a home with another friendly cat to keep him company.

Dalton is a super cute snuggler just looking to be loved. He will do well in a calm household with rooms to explore, a bed to sleep on and a furry friend to play with. If you're interested in adopting this snuggle-bug, please email info@teamcatrescue.ca!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dalton, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
