My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CLOVER is a 4 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 55 pounds. Clover is a sweet girl who came to us with her puppy, Cotton, who has been adopted. She spent the weekend with a foster recently and did wonderfully. She is good on leash and an excellent rider. She attended an event and enjoyed all the attention from the many people, was very well behaved and enjoyed meeting the other dogs there. She is not a huge fan of the crate but once in is quiet and good. She really did not need the crate at her temporary foster. We will find out more as Clover moves to a foster today. Clover is good with other dogs and loves people. She wants to chase cats. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: Clover is a sweet, sweet girl. She is in a foster with a lot of dogs while her foster is out of town. She is a little stressed by all the activity but does enjoy her yard time with a few of the calmer dogs. We are working with her on sharing human attention but still feel she would prefer to be the only dog in the household. She has good manners and really does not need to

Update: Clover is a wonderful, calm, loving girl! She is house trained and does great without a crate. She listens well and is eager to please. While Clover likes other dogs, we are finding that she would prefer to be the only dog in the house as she is very people oriented and does not like to share her humans with a companion. She has been to several events where she met all kinds of dogs and was fine with that but gets a little cranky with another dog in her "space". Clover is fostered in a home with several elderly occupants and does wonderfully with them as she has a very calm demeanor. If you are looking for a wonderful companion to share your home with as an only dog, Clover is your girl!
