Facts about Musa

  • Sex: Female
Musa and her brother Mozart were found by the side of a busy highway, for god knows how long. Finally, someone stopped and rescued these babies. Ps. They weren't even 2 months...sheesh.

Musa is brown and white and is totally gorgeous. Brother Mozart is black and white and sweetness on steroids. WE think they are Austrialian Shephert/Sharpei mix, but who really knows..meh. We don't suspect they will be large but they won't be tiny either. Medium-ish is our best bet.

Musa is a busy, busy puppy. She is not a sit-back-and-wait kinda gal. She is right in the mix. She is the puppy that plays like crazy, then passes out in a pile of toys.

They are both incredibly sweet, playful pups, who love other dogs and will happily frolic with anyone interested in trying to keep up with them for hours on end. They show zero interest in cats but we doubt cats would appreciate their exuberance. Small children would easily become first rate playmates for these puppies.

Both Musa and Mozart are working on that "house-breaking thing", are learning basic commands and do about as well as can be expected for a very distracted puppy on a leash. They have a very friendly personality which can be summed up as happy-go-lucky, bulls in china shops. Musa and Mozart will express their joy upon meeting new people and playing with a series of hilarious grunts and wiggly bottoms. Totally adorable puppies

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.

About No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

About Our Rescue Group...

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS) is a small no-kill rescue group operated out of Alberta. We are a 100% not for profit society and is volunteer run. We have foster homes all over Alberta.

Dogs are fostered by volunteers until their forever homes are found. While in foster care the animals receive full vet care in both Canada and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where the transport originates. All animals adopted out by NOBARS are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and dewormed.

We work with rescue groups in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, as well, we work closely with several local rescue groups in Alberta. We will transport small and larger breed dogs then place the dogs in foster homes until a forever family is found.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have Adoption Day Events ! Please check our website and our Facebook page to keep up to date with our events!

Our Adoption Process...

Part of our responsibility as members of Rescue Society is to ensure dogs and cats find their forever families. We want to ensure that the animal you wish to adopt is well suited for you, your home, and lifestyle and we are looking for the best possible conditions for each furry friend. To that end we require the following prior to adoption.

Adoption process – An Adoption Application Form must be filled out and a phone interview must be completed. A meet and greet will be set up to so that the potential adoptive family can meet the pet(s) they are interested in. We also complete a home inspection prior to the adoption and we also complete a small education session that covers many areas of being a responsible pet guardian.

We will require proof of home ownership or copy of lease or rental agreement along with landlord permission to have an animal companion. If applicable, copies of the condominium by-laws to assure animals are allowed in the complex.

Applicants will be required to sign our contract agreement.

All animals are spayed or neutered and have all vaccinations.
We will recommend applicants sign up for obedience classes when adopting dogs.
