Bijou's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bijou's Story...
Available through Lytle Animal Care & Control. Welcome BIJOU!
She is a spayed female Pekingese mix, approximately 2-4 years old, weighing 7.5 pounds. Found as a stray by a good samaritan and turned into the Lytle Animal Care and Control facility. She gets along with other dogs but prefers to explore solo. She is crate trained, potty trained, and is working on being on a leash and harness. She is quiet and likes her environment the same. Preferred home is perhaps another low energy dog, and no children. Perfect for that single or retired individual. She is in a foster home in San Antonio. Contact teresakopacki@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bijou, a Pluckemin Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
