Autumn's Story...
Autumn
Like the season, Autumn is a little shy to open up, but once she does it's truly beautiful thing. Autumn is a female 6 week old tortoise shell kitten, who is very gentle and loving. Don't misunderstand, like any other kitten, she loves a good romp - but she loves a good snuggle and rub just as much. Autumn is up to date on her vaccines and deworming, and her adoption contract will cover the cost of her remaining vetting, including her spay and remaining vaccines. Autumn must be an indoor cat. Please fill out your adoption application at www.hs-uc.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Monroe Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
