My name is Hope, and I was named that by the nice lady at the animal shelter. I was taken from my owner because he wasn't being very nice to me...I was skinny when they saved me, and I had a big sore running down my back. I can't really tell them how I got it, but it really doesn't matter now because I AM SAFE! My skin is healed now, although I do have a scar, but I don't care because life is GREAT! I live in a foster home with lots of other pups, and I get to romp and play in a big back yard! I eat good food, and I have my own special bed that I hang out in when my foster mom and dad are at work. I've learned how to use the doggie door, too, so I don't have accidents in the house! I'm learning my manners which is sometimes hard because I'm so eager to get allllll the love I can, but my foster parents understand that and have been very patient with me. Sometimes when they move their hands too quick I blink a lot, but I know they love me so I'm trying really hard to trust them. I love hugs and kisses, and I love when my mom and dad snuggle my head and scratch my ears. I want a fun, safe home where I can get lots of love, and I'd love to learn some new tricks, too! Can we be friends? I sure would like that!
