My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiger is a great basset mix who is still in New Orleans with Looziana Basset Rescue. He is vaccinated, wormed, neutered, microchipped and just about to finish heartworm treatment. He is doing well. He is a super sweet boy who loves all people and other dogs. He likes walks and car rides. He is an a foster home and his foster Mom would be more than happy to tell you more about his personality. He was rescued from underneath a school in Bastrop, LA where he had fallen into a very deep hole. His owners never claimed him.
Our adoption fee is $300 and the fee to transport to Putnam, CT is $185. We check vet references and do home visits prior to an adoption. Please email QueenB534@aol.com for more information and to request an application.

From Tiger's foster Mom:

Tiger is a pretty perfect dog. He has a very easy-going personality and is always happy. He is great with people and other dogs. He loves going for walks with his long nose to the ground to catch the best scents. His favorite game is tug of war whether played with another dog or with a human friend. He does well with new situations and enjoys meeting new people. Tiger is young (about 2) so he likes to play and be active but in classic hound fashion, he also loves to snuggle up and sleep most of the day away. Tiger has graduated from a basic obedience class where he demonstrated that he is a very quick learner (and highly food motivated). Tiger is also crate-trained, housebroken and walks well on leash.

Tiger would do better in a home without young children, only because he might knock them over.
