Gracie Mae (ETAA)'s Story...
Hi! My name is Gracie Mae and I have found myself in a bad situation. My mom died unexpectedly and now I need a new home. I was rescued off the streets by my mom. I think I am about 3 years old. I am used to living indoors with my 4 cat siblings and my little doggie brother. I am good with children and big people. I need exercise because an exercised dog is always a good dog. I am very lucky the neighbors are feeding me and walking me. This is great but I really need a home to call my own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie Mae (ETAA), a Washington Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
