FOR ADOPTION: "
Hi! I'm Sundance! They say my name is perfect for me because I'm like a beautiful ray of sunshine and I also love to dance through life --- sniffing, playing, walking, exploring --- all with joy!
My people went through some life changes recently and they had to give me up -- but on the bright side, that means I get to find a new family to love love love!
I'm 4 years old and a Border Collie/Golden boy, or so they tell me. I'm housetrained, and totally fine with free roam of the house (do I sound like I'm bragging??). I'm also good with those medium-sized humans -- the rescue ladies tell me I should say 'kids over 8 years old' -- but the really tiny ones kinda make me nervous, so I need a forever home with no toddlers or small kids, please.
I'm looking for a new forever family to love! And if we can go hiking and running and then snuggle lots, I would love that too!
Sundance is a 4 year old golden/border collie mix - he loves to snuggle and hang with his humans, but also enjoys big hikes or jogging. He was returned after 3 years for nipping the toddler in the home who grabbed him and was rambunctious.
He has more of a border collie demeanor with the sweetness of a golden - in a Golden color.
He doesn't love other dogs, and would do best in a dog free home - preferably with acreage so he doesn't have to be walked around busy streets with other dogs.
He used to be great with cats but would need someone VERY committed to letting him settle in before introducing him to their cats. Ideally a home without cats would be better
He adores all humans age 7 and up.
