Savannah's Story...
Savannah is a beautiful black lab. She is a young girl, and somehow ended up on her own. She wasn't too sure about people, but once she was in a safe place, she decided we were ok. She came from the shelter to our place so that she could have some time to get used to being in a home setting, getting fed every day. You know, learning how to be a loved pet. Savannah is getting the hang of it! She will come when called now, offers kisses and plays well with our other pups. She has been spayed, vaccinated and is up to date on flea and heartworm prevention. She would love a quiet home with a loving family that will allow her to continue to gain confidence and have fun! For more information about meeting and adopting Savannah, please give us a call at K9LR, 865-660-7582.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Savannah, a Kingston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
