Important Note

Gabriella is best friends with Anastasia. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
6 months, 40-45 pounds as adult. Gabriella is sweet and shy she is very playful with her foster siblings. At adoption events she is the first to go to the front of the pen to see who wants to give pets or treats but on leash she is scared of the world. Each week she grows older and more confident. She loves to be held and pampered. Belly rubs are of course her favorite thing on earth!. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and a dog door. With the dog door she is housebroken. She can let herself out. But when she goes to a home with out a dog door she will need to learn to let you know. The good thing is that she knows to potty outside so teaching her which door to go to shouldn't be tough. Gabby would do best with another dog b/c of her shy nature but if you have enough one on one time to spend with her she would bond quickly and be just fine. Short little legs, a long body and beautiful smile.

6 months, 40-45 pounds as adult. Anastasia is a cuddlebug as you can see. She loves to sit in your lap but she also loves to play and go for walks. She is a little shy at first so at adoption events she won't go see any of the strangers standing over the pen trying to pet her. She just sit back and looks at them. She is in a foster home in a condo with two large dogs. She was shy of them at first but now plays with them and follows their lead on walks. She is better with another dog to follow but she would adjust to being an only dog if you had enough time to spend with her.

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee is normal $200 a dog but this bonded pair is $200 for both. You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs.
To apply, simply go to

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.

About Forgotten Paws Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Forgotten Paws Pet Rescue is made up of a very small group of volunteers. We all work full time jobs while running this rescue group. We all dip into our own pockets on a daily basis to get these pets the medical care and supplies that they need to survive until we can find them their forever homes. Unfortunately, some of them have to wait in line for care because we do not have the monetary means to help them immediately. That is where your donations come in.

Our rescued pets live in our homes, under our supervision. We do our best to train, housebreak and perfect these pets to the best of our abilities so that when we do find them their forever homes, they work out.

We at Forgotten Paws revere our rescued pets like our own. We treat them like members of our families until they can be adopted. We are a NO KILL group and we also ask that if a pet does not work out for any reason, 2 days or 10 years down the road, please return them to us. We love them that much.

Our motto: When we rescue a pet, we are in it for life. We are not just looking for a home, we are looking for the right home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Process:
October only, adoption fee is $100, that's half the price!
1. All applicants must be 23 years of age and must complete an adoption application.
2. You application will be reviewed and all veterinary and personal references will be contacted
3. Home Visit / Play Date - All household members, including current pets, are required to attend the home visit. All needed repairs to fencing must be completed prior to this visit. Gates to the yard need to be securing locked.
4. Two Week Trial Adoption Period - We require the two week trial on all adoptions so that the new pet has time to get settled and their true personalities can surface. It gives the new home a chance to make sure this pet is the right fit for everyone involved. Please understand that like a child, a new pet needs time to adjust and settle in. There is an adjustment period.
5. Adoption Agreement and Adopton Fee of $200 ($150 for seniors).
6. One policy to note: If you have children and you are applying for a dog, we will require you to have a physically fenced yard. Electric fencing is not acceptable in most cases but exceptions are sometimes made dependent upon the dog.

You can find the adoption application at
