Penny- Adoption Pending's Story...
Meet Penny! Penny and her brother Boone were taken into the arms of a wonderful lady after they came down with Parvovirus. Parvovirus is very contagious and often deadly. These two pulled through and are now ready for their forever homes!
Penny is 5 months old. She is now a typical puppy who needs all the puppy training and manners. She is so sweet. She is playful. She is good with children but due to her size she may be best with older children so she does not accidentally knock them over.

Due to the parvovirus we do have some requirements for her adopters. We do not think it is wise given all they have been through to travel pretty far so anyone interested must be within an hour or so of Lancaster Pa. They must go to a home where the resident dogs are either over a year old or younger than a senior. While its not likely now there is a small chance they can shed the parvovirus in their stool for some time after they recover. Puppies, senior dogs, dogs not vaccinated and those with weakened immune systems are most at risk for catching this virus. This is also part of why we want to limit their travel so that they don't potentially expose other dogs when left out for potty breaks. We are asking potential adopters not take them on outings to the pet store or a dog park or anywhere else dogs may gather for a while so that we don't risk exposing other dogs.

Please note, Penny is NOT chewing up the shoe in the picture. She apparently loves this shoe and carries it around with her!
