I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Yarr Mateys!! Captain Scully here ready to set sail to the high seas to find my golden treasure-a new place to call home! I am a 2.5 year old corgi/hound mix with a love of adventure. Climb aboard me ship as we explore the seven wonders of Oregon! I am energetic and playful mate with a love of toys and socializing with the other pups of me crew. Even those pesky felines can hop aboard the S.S. Loyal Canine! After a life on the quiet seas, I am not used to all the hustle and bustle of the big city and a quiet low-key home with no kids would be the pirate’s life for me. But I am an energetic and playful captain and enjoy my daily walks in the great outdoors or some nice ball time in the yard too! Care to join me in my quest to seek the treasure that is my heart?! Then fill out an application today, so we can pilot this ship called life together! I come to you vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.
The Pixie Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of animals through adoption services and low cost spay & neuter assistance. Our adoption center and non-profit retail store is located at 510 N.E. MLK Blvd Portland, OR 97232. We are open Tues-Fri 11-6, Sat 11-4.
Part of our mission is to help prevent overcrowding in county and rural shelters, therefore the majority of our animals are transferred from those shelter to Pixie Project. We do not accept owner surrendered pets or strays.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Meeting our adoptable animals:
Pixie Project -- Many of our dogs live on-site in kennels located in the back our facility, with 3 play yards for play groups. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only after an application has been submitted. This ensures we can make the best match for your family!
Pixie Project Cattery – The majority of the Pixie Project’s adoptable cats live in our free roaming cattery at the Pixie Project and are open to the public. No appointment necessary.
Pixie Project Foster Care – At any time The Pixie Project will have several animals living in loving foster homes. If you are interested in meeting an animal that is currently in foster care please contact the Pixie Project at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a meet and greet
Our Adoption Process...
We have an application which can be downloaded from our website www.pixieproject.org and sent back to us via email or fax (503-542-3437). Once the application has been filled out and submitted to us it is forwarded to our adoption committee. Once the application has been reviewed and processed the applicant will be contacted. This process usually takes about 24-48 hours.
All of our animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (excluding rabies), and microchipped. Our adoption fees are based on the age and health of the dog or cat. Each pet’s fee is listed at the end of their description.
