SOPHIA's Story...
3 yr old Maltese/Terrier female- 13 lbs

Sophia is a quiet and well behaved girl. She is content in a quiet home and will make an excellent companion to someone who is home a lot. Sophia is good on walks and once back home will be your lap dog. She will be a great companion to another dog with medium to low energy for the times when her family is out and can't take them with.

She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a day and she will shower you with kisses and love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SOPHIA, a San Diego Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
