Cha Cha's Story...
Cha Cha and her litter were surrendered to us by a young guy after his dog had an "accidental" litter. These girls are very sweet and social and love to play with other dogs in the foster home! They were born approximately 7/22/16 and they weigh between 4-7 pounds right now. The vetting to date is: 2 sets of puppy vaccines, bordatella vaccine, deworming, spay, microchip, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention is current. These pups are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized (will be ready to transport on 10/1/16). If you'd like to add one of these pups to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cha Cha, a Allentown German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
