My story

Birdie is a playful, energetic puppy! He behaves well around people and is gentle with young children. He gets along with other dogs as well as cats.

Birdie has big eyes and ears of a German Shepherd trait, alert yet very friendly toward people and other dogs. He is an energetic young pup who is also a quick learner, already potty trained and can stay in his crate as told. His foster mom always praise him for being such a good boy!

Birdie’s story:
When Birdie was about three months old, he was picked up by a man who runs a parking garage near a tourism attraction. The man intended to make him a guard dog. But he was a cruel and ignorant owner: Birdie was chained to the iron gate all the time, with no shelter to keep him from bad weather and the unrelenting chase of mosquitos. Birdie was fed on leftover food and clean water was hard to come by. The man even talked about cutting Birdie’s tail short to make it better look by using a tight band to stop the blood circulation in the tail!
Birdie’s plight did not escape the eyes of the patrons who used the garage. Someone suggested that it’s time to give Birdie the vaccinations needed, and volunteered to take Birdie to the vet. At the vet’s office, they surprisingly found many cuts on Birdie’s little body and face, apparently it’s from the attacks of other vicious stray dogs. They just did not have the heart to let Birdie go back to his irresponsible owner. So they made up a white lie to the garage keeper saying that Birdie had micro chip and the previous owner claimed for him. Birdie was placed with a foster home for future adoption.

Birdie’s smartness and good behavior won him praises from everyone who met him. He is ready for his own forever home. Will you give him the love and care he so deserves?
