Sydney is a true sweetheart. She loves being around her human friends, always being a good girl sitting next to them wanting her ears scratched. When she is eating or has a good ear scratch she makes a cute pig snort sound. She really enjoys walks and does quite well on a leash. She responds very well to corrective commands and knows "sit", "stay", and "lay down". She usually reacts well to dogs that are outside but pulls when she sees a cat or squirrel. She has a lot of energy and needs daily walks but she is quite calm in the house. She needs a lot of time to be able to adjust to her new home, especially if the home has other animals. She would be best in a home without any animals, but if slowly introduced to other dogs, she has learned to adapt. She would be best in a home without cats as she thinks they are things to chase, but she has slowly learned to be more calm around them. Syd is housebroken and has learned to be crate-trained where she is during the day and to sleep at night. Syd would love to be a part of your forever home. Give her a chance!
