My story

Ghost is a Maremma Sheepdog, usually referred to as just Maremmano, this breed of dog is a livestock guardian dog. He is a senior dog around 8 years old. Who has lived his entire life guarding a flock of sheep. The farmer who owned the sheep got too old to care for them anymore and got rid of them. Without the sheep he no longer had the need for Ghost so he ended up at the shelter. Ghost is a wonderful dog who has had a well needed first bath and looks beautiful now. He loves to be outside but will also spend the afternoon relaxing on the couch. He is rather skinny at the moment so we are trying to help him gain some weight. He gets along with cats, other dogs, and people. We are hoping to find a home for him on a farm or a place with a lot of land or other animals.
