Jimbo may seem aloof at first, but once he gets to know his new human friends, he's all about becoming their 70-pound lapdog.
This goofy, playful boy thinks he's still a little puppy who can snuggle with his people. And truthfully, his people friends don't mind at all - in fact, they love giving him the petting that makes him so happy.
Jimbo is a moderately active boy who walks well on his leash and loves playtime, especially if it involves playing fetch with tennis balls. He hasn't been observed with cats or kids yet, but is getting along well with socialized female dogs.
Jimbo has tested positive for heartworms. It's a treatable condition, and the cost is included in his adoption fee. You can read about heartworm treatment here: http://www.austinpetsalive.org/heartworms/.
This beautiful boy will make a great companion in a home where he can get a few walks a day, plenty of play time, and lots of love that he's ready to return in abundance. Come meet him!
