My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Red! He's a 2 year old super nice fellow. Red was adopted way back in 2015 after graduating from the Prison Dog Program and was a wonderful well behaved family pet. The family always have foster children living with them. Red was great with all the kids and lived with them since he was adopted. Now new foster children are living in the home. For reasons unknown Red is not getting along as well with the new children. There has not been any biting but the family is reluctantly returning Red before an incident happens. His family said he was a great dog and loved curling up and watching TV in the evenings with them. He is house trained and had manners in the home. Beware...Red thinks he's a lap dog. Please give Red back a loving home. He has no idea why he's back at the shelter.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
