Dudley's Story...
Meet Dudley!
Dudley is a 5 year old Rat Terrier who really LOVES the WOMEN. Yes.... he is QUITE THE LADIES MAN ;-)
While currently living in Northport, Alabama,
Dudley enjoys long walks with his woman, belly rubs, and romping the dog park with his friends. He's not much of a barker, which is surprising, given his breed, but he will let you know if there is a stranger in the house. He will cuddle with you for hours, and give you very sympathetic looks when you complain about your day.
In case you're curious about Dudley's favorite meals.... he really enjoys Salmon, which keeps his coat sleek, shiny, and shed-free. He likes to look good for the ladies, you know ...
Not only does Dudley like to look good, but he keeps himself very healthy, as well. He is fully vetted, neutered and heartworm negative. He is on monthly heartworm preventative and Bravecto to keep those nasty fleas and ticks away.
Ladies....He has his bag packed, and is ready to move in! If you think Dudley might be the furry guy of your dreams, please contact us right away!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dudley, a Northport Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Northport, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Northport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northport paves the way for another one to be saved.
