Simone's Story...
Date of Birth: estimated January 1, 2004
Female - SPAYED
Long Haired Black

Hi! I’m Simone, a sweet gentle front- declawed senior found abandoned in a parking lot. I am a tiny, 6 lb. love-bug who gives good purrs and is a great listener. My cute lion-cut is a result of the matting requiring me to be shaved but one day I will again be an elegant long-haired lady! I would be the perfect companion for an older or housebound person. I am not demanding or clingy, but rather I want to sit next to you and receive a few gentle pets. A bed by a sunny window is my idea of heaven! Do you have that purrfect home for me?
Love, Simone

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simone, a Sterling Heights Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
