This is Micah! His family is trying to re-home him as they prepare for a cross-country move. He has anxiety issues, and they feel that such a major move may be way too stressful for him. Is there anyone who can provide a calm home for this lovely boy? If so, please email us at email@example.com. Description below:
Micah is 7 years old and a big cuddle bug. He loves attention and playing. He is an indoor cat, but loves to go outside for a few minutes at a time when the weather is nice. He is pretty big, weighing in around 14 lbs, but he's not really overweight.
Micah struggles with undiagnosed hyperesthesia, which is a stress/anxiety disorder. He is usually fine, but changes in routine or environment stress him out. It's easy to tell when he is getting upset as he'll start twitching, licking his stomach or hind legs excessively, and attacking his tail. When you start to see the signs, getting a toy and playing with him helps. After he first moves, he'll need lots of attention until he becomes accustomed to his new home.
