FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED FOR KORIE NOW!
Korie came into our rescue as an owner surrender. He had been saved from a bad situation by a well-meaning person, who was just not equipped to give him what he needed.
We met Korie and knew that he would need some time in our rescue, but he is SO worth time and effort ... because he is a GREAT dog!
After he had a chance to relax and decompress, we sent him to a board and train program to reinforce his basics and to learn how to be a well-mannered family member.
Korie came back from the board and train having learned his lessons well! He was happy and well-behaved in his foster home, but the foster mom's dog just didn't like Korie, and couldn't be convinced to share his space.
Sadly, Korie now is in boarding until we can find a new home for him! He is FINE with other dog-friendly dogs his own size. He needs to be in a home where he can practice what he's learned in the board and train. Our trainer will work with the family to reinforce his training and make sure he continues to move forward.
Korie is a young dog - only about 18 months old. He is energetic and active, and would love a home with an active family. He would make a fantastic jogging or hiking partner.
He should not be in a home with cats, small dogs, or other small furry creatures. He will do best in an adult home, or one with older children.
Korie is a loving dog who will win your heart - and he has the most wonderful smile!
