Ginger Snap-you can call me Ginger for short. Must be you clicked on my photo because you think I am a cute boxer girl. I'm in what they call a "foster home" in Northern California. I think that means I won't be here forever, but they said my forever home is somewhere out there. You may have a few questions about me, so maybe I can help explain a little bit about me. I am a tiny girl at 7 years old. Even though I'm 7 years old I still have some spunk left in me. One thing I need is daily exercise that helps me stay out of trouble while my family goes away. I love them so much, that sometimes I don't like them to leave... But I am learning very fast that I will be okay while they are gone! My foster mom calls me the "in between" girl in her pack. I am more dominant that her submissive female, but less dominant than her dominant male. I love playing with them both, but my foster Mom says I would do best with a submissive sibling. Maybe you have one of those? I may also be fine on my own. But please, no kitties for me. My foster mom says I have a prey drive. I mean, who doesn't want to chase things that run from you? I love to box and play with my foster Dad and I mostly like to relax in the house with them. I will do anything to make my family happy and love to sit and shake, and I'm so smart I could probably learn a lot more! I'm fully up-to-date on my vaccines, microchipped and have had my senior geriatric blood panel performed. Well, thank you for stopping in and getting more info about me. Hopefully I am the girl for you, but if not, maybe you could share me with your friends. I know my perfect home is out there somewhere!

Please fill out an adoption application. After review, one of our volunteers will contact you to answer your questions and to set up a home check and a meeting with the dogs. Inquiries WITHOUT the application will NOT be answered. Here is the link:

About Sachi Animal Rescue - Los Angeles

About Our Rescue Group...

Sachi Animal Rescue was created in September 2009 by a group of dog loving volunteers. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization staffed entirely by volunteers who donate their time and money to find homes for hard to place canines. We specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating and placing companion dogs(primarily, but not exclusively, the Boxer breed) that have otherwise been abandoned and neglected or abused, into loving homes.
We do this because there is such a huge amount of dogs euthanized every day who could have been great pets if only they'd been given the chance. We do this because even though saving one life at a time may seem futile, one life saved is still a victory.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Sachi Animal rescue does not operate a kennel. Our dogs are currently boarded in foster homes or training facilities. Dogs will be shown by private appointments only.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption donation starts at $400.00 .
In order to first qualify for an appointment, applicants are required to fill out a thorough questionnaire about their home, lifestyle, dog experience as well as insurance coverage for certain breeds, adequate fencing, etc. We want to make sure the dog will be a full time member of the family and be treated as such, all his/her needs will be met and exceeded and will never be denied medical coverage.
Once the potential adopter qualifies, an appointment will be scheduled to meet the dog(s).
Going forward, the adopter will fill out a Sachi Animal Rescue adoption contract .
The dog will not be delivered to the adopter until a thorough homecheck has been done.
Trainers will be available free of charge to make sure the transition into the home goes smoothly.
