This beautiful girl is Ava! Ava is approximately 10 months old and was rescued from a very high kill shelter in Georgia, which is where she is currently in her foster home. She will be available to transport to either our NJ or MD locations, but only after a super special forever adopter is found and, most importantly, approved. Lots of folks want pretty huskies, but very few know and understand what they will require - it’s not easy to have these beauties in your life, but it’s sure worth it! This is what her foster mom says: “Now that she's been here for a while, she's very mellow and sweet. She only gets hyped up when Dante, our other Husky, is out with her... otherwise she just lays around the bedroom with me. House trained. Crate trained. She will sit. She also knows 'come up'. She gives great hugs, she loves to put her paws on your shoulders.” Sounds like a great pup, right? Well, she must have an adopter that has previous or current husky breed experience and also someone with a very secure 6 foot privacy fence – huskies are escape artists and Ava is no different. Ava is spayed and current on all of her vaccines. Ava in particular likes her Husky foster sibling and isn’t a great fan of the other dogs in the home so she would be best suited in a pack of her own or as an only dog.
