My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fritz is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wag. At about 12 months old and approximately 13 lbs, Fritz is every bit the puppy-like kind of guy...fun and active....but at the same time he is a very loyal and devoted companion.

We can see that Fritz was abused by a male at some earlier time in his life. It's with this knowledge that we'd like to go forward in searching for a female guardian for Fritz. At his previous home, he has been a very devoted, 1-person (female) companion. Fritz gives his entire heart to his person..but isn't necessarily social with others.

It is for this reason that we're searching for a female guardian who is seeking to bring a full-time fuzzy companion into her life. We feel it's important that his person doesn't work full-time outside of the home. An at-home job or a retiree would be perfect for Fritz.

After a transitional period, Fritz will be the best friend that a stay-at-home kind of person could ever hope for. He is very well house trained and extremely clean about himself and his home. Fritz is so happy to show how smart his is... he'll sit, stay and shake hands like a champ. He also loves to go in the car...maybe a long walk is in store at a park or trail.

A fenced yard would be so much fun for Fritz. He can play and sun himself while enjoying an afternoon with his human best friend. At day's end, Fritz would love nothing more than to stretch out on the couch. When it's time for bed, Fritz is the first to get under the covers and cuddle with his mom.

Fritz is a non-shedding guy and will therefore require a commitment to great nutrition (salmon oil will make his coat SO soft) and periodic grooming to keep his hair cottony-soft, very healthy and matt-free.

Fritz is currently in a foster home. If interested in this adorable and sweet one-woman dog... please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
