SNOWBALL's Story...
Snowball has been with his family for 10 years, watching over kids
and his yorkie siblings His family recently are having to navigate a
life changing situation and leave their home and are now having to
find Snowball a new family. His dad and mom say that he is a very
special boy and will go from bedroom to bedroom to check on all the
kids before he settles in for the evening. If a stranger comes near
his yard he will alert them with a fierce sounding bark, than as soon
as his parents come out, he goes back to the house. He would do well
in a country setting as he is a home body and will stay very close to
his family at all times. Snowball weighs about 120lbs and has a bit of
a hitch in his giddy-up, but is overall a very healthy 10 year old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SNOWBALL, a McArthur Great Pyrenees/Maremma Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Maremma Sheepdog for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Maremma Sheepdog dog from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Maremma Sheepdog breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Maremma Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
