My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ozo is absolutely a rare find for any family. He's a gorgeous Papillon/Spaniel mix - (this is the breed ID made by the vets in Kansas-we aren't absolutely sure but Ozo does resemble both of these beautiful breeds)) with the most striking black and white markings. Ozo is simply gorgeous and kind...both inside and out.

Ozo is a fairly quiet guy and at about 3 - 4 years old and 9.4 lbs is very much a blank slate waiting for positive direction and leadership to understand that the world around him is a safe place. He has already learned to love his relationships with kind humans, canines and felines.. and is on his way to discovering that the world is an awesome place to explore . Ozo is open to relationships with everyone he meets...of every age group, including children. Ozo LOVES to engage and is very puppyish when he does so. He could not be happier, however, than in the time he spends with the people who love him.

Ozo would be overjoyed with long walks with time spent socializing and enjoying the sunshine. As a young guy he requires exercise and socialization to become the greatest adult dog he can be. A trail or a path is a great opportunity for making friends and fun for an engaging guy. At day's end, we can see Ozo snuggling on the couch after a day of exercise and adventure.

We can learn a great deal from a positive spirit like Ozo...we learn to forgive those who were unkind or harsh and move on with a great attitude and a joy for life. He has a way about him that brings a smile to the face of anyone in his company. His cotton-soft coat makes Ozo truly resemble a fuzzy and snuggly teddy-bear.

Farfel's has been incredibly impressed by the love that shines forth from this small boy and feels that he deserves the most devoted and involved (both with time and energy) dog guardians we can find for him.

We've requested that Ozo be neutered prior to his transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur. If it does not..Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Ozo's neuter and microchip if our Denver vet is used.

Ozo will be arriving on transport in Denver on Thursday 9/29/16. If interested in this adorable and sweet...and often very entertaining best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
