Candy Canes are often associated with Christmas time, but they are made all year long. That’s all year fun of sweet, pretty goodness. And that’s exactly what I think you’ll get when you bring me to your forever home! I’m Candy Cane and I’m a female, apricot Schnauzer mix…maybe a little Wheaton Terrier…with natural ears and a natural tail. I’m about three years old and I weigh about twenty-seven pounds. I’m really sweet. I probably mentioned that. I’m a shy, quiet and submissive girl. I’m still trying to figure things out but I’m already starting to perk up. I’m learning that I’m safe here. I like children but I like gentle children…at least until I get everything figured out. I’m still not sure how all this happened to me. I’m a very good girl. I’m crate trained and I’m house trained too. I know how to walk on a leash as well. I like my four-legged friends and I’m friendly with them at play time. I’m one of the bigger ones…but I don’t push my weight around. I like car rides and I do well in the car. If you want sweet goodness in your home all year long, you can have me! Just click the ‘Adopt’ tab, complete your adoption application and put me, Candy Cane, as a dog of interest.
