Sammy is a sweet little love bug. He is shy to start but once trust is built he loves to be touched.To show his affection he leans into you and rolls over to give you his belly. Sammy startles easily, and yet bravely explores everything. When around other cats and dogs he hisses at first but is interested in playing with them. As a 6 month old kitten he loves playing with all toys. Chasing little stuffed mice, pouncing on balls, and catching ribbons are ways in which this high energy boy entertains himself.
Sammy started his life as a feral kitten so he needs someone with patience to build trust. He will hide at first in your home so it might take time to build a bond but Sammy is very capable of getting close.
Sammy showed up one day in his foster families back yard. Over time they worked to build trust and socialize him in order to bring him inside. Although he started as a feral kitten, he loves to live with others and is very interested in bonding to humans and other pets.
