If you are interested; please complete an adoption application at www.pawsitivelyfurever.org in order to be approved for meet and greet. There is a $25 dollar non-refundable deposit required if approved. Once you attend the meet and greet, if you decide to bring the dog home it will be reduced from the adoption fee. We are doing this due to many people who have been approved and scheduled meet and greet have not shown up or called the rescue to advise of another adoption. The deposit would be considered a donation in order to save others.
Adoption fee is $400, includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter if of age.
Come meet Nox! A staff and volunteer favorite, we were requested to get Nox out of the shelter environment. Black dogs do not have a chance in Texas. They are one of the most euthanized dogs there. So we pulled Nox from a kill shelter in Texas. About 1 yr old and a little sweetie, Nox greets you with wagging tail and kisses. She is a complete love-bug!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nox, a Saddle Brook Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Saddle Brook, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Saddle Brook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saddle Brook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saddle Brook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saddle Brook paves the way for another one to be saved.
