Gigi's Story...
Gigi is a 2 year old female Yorkshire Terrier approximately 10 lbs. She would prefer to be an only dog but not required. Sudden loud noises can startle her. A home without small children is preferred. One eye has been removed but that does not stop her from going on walks and wanting to go everywhere with you. She is full of character and has the yorkie personality, which can cause her to be possessive if allowed, so she will need parents who have experience with the breed. She will go outside to potty or use a potty pad. She loves to play fetch with her toys as long as you will throw the toys for her, then will cuddle up next to you for a nap. She is just a sweet loving girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Los Angeles Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
