Pebbles's Story...
Hello there. Are you looking to add a BIG dog to your family. Have I got the dog for you!! My name is Pebbles and I am a 4 year old female GREAT DANE - yes, a GREAT DANE! I currently weigh in at 115 pounds.

I have a very gentle nature. I love attention from people, going to walks, and giving lots of kisses. I also like my ears rubbed.

I was recently surrendered after hard times fell on my family and they could no longer take care of me. They brought me to Gail's Pets and I am now looking for a family to call me own. I hope that is with you.

Pebbles resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pebbles, a Oakland Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
