Olea's Info...

I am already spayed and housetrained.

Olea's Story...
Olea is a young, approximately 1 year old, spayed Lionhead bunny. She came to us after her owner brought her and 6 other bunnies to the shelter. She is a sweet girl and enjoys being pet. She is cautious at first, but she warms up quickly once she settles in. She is a great veggie and hay eater and really loves to explore. She will make a wonderful addition to your home!

**If you are new to house rabbits, please do your research before adding a bunny to your home. They are phenomenal companions but you must understand rabbit behavior and the level of care they require!**

We adopt out to indoor homes only! If you are under the age of 18 we will need a parent or legal guardian to contact us. Our adoption fee is $85 for a single bunny and $140 for a bonded pair. For more information or if you are interested in adopting please send us an email at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olea, a Watauga Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Watauga, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Watauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Watauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Watauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Watauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
