Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Daisy. I am a petite 8lb 1 yr old rat terrier, but don't let my size fool you. I am a terrier thru and thru....just ask my foster mom. She laughs at my many antics and is amazed at how high I can jump. I am learning how to play with toys....I like tennis balls that are my size. Socially I never meet a stranger....big or small. However, I do have one hang up and that is other dogs. You see, I want to be the center of attention and I don't play well with other k9's as I am very bossy. A home with no other dogs would be perfect for me. I am a bundle of energy and love to be outside, so a fence is necessary. Chasing things in the back yard is great fun along with playing with my people. My foster mom has a doggie door which took me all of 2 minutes to figure out (because I am a mighty terrier and smart) which is great because I also know I have to potty outside. If you are an active family that wants a happy forever sidekick, please come meet me. Daisy is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, and spayed. Daisy’s adoption fee is $300.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org
