Gunner's Story...
Hi everyone...my name is Gunner and I am 9 year young. I am a smaller fella but have a big heart. I am great around the other dogs and have been raised with children in a family home. My family had to ask GLWR for help as one of the family members developed serious allergies and although they loved me I could not live with them anymore. I just had some minor surgery to remove a few benign fatty lumps and am on the road to full recovery. Now I am a healthy, happy boy and ready to find my new family. Could that be you? f so, well what are you waiting for? Get your application in so you can get approved to visit me and see if we connect - I promise you will not be disappointed - I mean really check me out - who would not want a handsome gent like me to chill with? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
