Kayne (Neutered)'s Story...
21 hrs ·

Kayne" is a darling adult male Boxer mix who was surrendered by his owner on September 7, 2016 along with "Maggie Mae" (a senior black Labrador Retriever who shared his previous home). "Kayne" has a white short smooth coat with brindle patches on his hind quarters, a long tail, and a handsome brindle-and-white face which is uniquely marked. This little guy is such a lovebug and adores attention :) He begins to wag his tail the moment you make eye contact with him and immediately rolls over on his back for a bellyrub and baby-talk :) :) "Kayne" weighed 38 lbs. when he entered our shelter and has now gained a few much-needed pounds thanks to the good food our kennel techs prepared for him twice a day. "Kayne" was neutered on September 20, 2016 and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kayne (Neutered), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
