Very intelligent dog and a fast learner. Mojo has had a difficult life, much of it in a shelter before coming to New Horizon. Under foster care, his personality has flourished. Mojo loves to be around people and is the life of the party. He is affectionate, but not a big licker. He would rather sit next to you (or perhaps on you) for back or belly scratches.
Mojo has been leash-trained and is going through additional training to walk at a heel and learning quickly. Mojo is over a year, but still plays with that puppy charm (running after toys, etc). If you are active, Mojo is a great jogging buddy or hiker. Mojo does need toys and outside play to run off that puppy energy. Mojo loves to play with other dogs and go for long walks to meet new people along the way. Mojo has very soft, short hair. NOTE: he does not like the rain and can get chilly during winter mornings/evenings.
MOJO was not afforded the proper heartworm prevention previously and tests positive. He is currently on the Gentle Kill regime which will render him heartworm negative within 6-8 months.
