Jack is a 7 yr old male cocker spaniel in need of a new home. He would probably like to be an only pet (definitely no cats) in an adult home. Jack is a fun companion and loves to go for trail walks and to play ball. He's a cautious, timid guy at times, who just needs a little encouragement. When he hesitates at something new, a "Good Boy, Jack" is all he needs to feel secure. He enjoys petting and a good back scratch, but right now he's not an overly affectionate kind of guy. That should change as he adjusts to being without the family and home he had for the previous 7 yrs. It's hard for him to trust.

About Underdogs Rescue & Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

We believe that there’s a great home for every dog. We’re committed to bringing dogs and guardians together who are right for each other. We do it by knowing the dog, and knowing the prospective guardian.

We look at lifestyle, energy level, experience, tolerances. It’s communicating about expectations and commitment, not just for the next few weeks when the dog comes into their life, but for life.

We stay in touch. After the initial home visit, we’re available to offer help, support and advise. We welcome knowing how everyone is settling in. Pictures are great, an occasional email. Our job is to support the owner and dog throughout the process.

Our Adoption Process...
