Oliver is a golden Labrador Retriever that was born in September 2011 and weighs 65 pounds. He was pulled from McKamey Animal Center after being surrendered there.
Oliver gets along with everyone...dogs, kids, and cats alike. He is calm and loving and loves to lean his head into your leg just to say 'I love you.' He loves soft toys and likes to carry them around in his mouth...his favorite is a soft dog bone toy.
Oliver has also tested positive for heartworms and will be getting his first treatment at the vet in mid-October after finishing a round of antibiotics.
Oliver is available for pre-adoption or can go into foster care with a family that intends to adopt him, but Pet Placement Center will pay for all of his medicine and treatments until he is Heartworm free. Going into a home environment is the best thing for Oliver during his treatment because his physical activity should be limited at that time. Plus, it is a great way for him to bond with his new family and Pet Placement Center will help you every step of the way.
The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
