Xander is the happiest Pointer Mix you’ll ever meet. Born in September of 2015, he only weighs about 47 pounds and was pulled from McKamey Animal Center shortly after being surrendered there.

Xander could never have enough playtime and fun. He wakes up every morning ready to get together with his friends and run around until the dinner bell rings. Every day poses a new adventure for him. On the mornings that we have dog hikes, Xander is always the first to be ready to go. Suiting him up with a harness is no problem and he will wait eagerly by the gate until it is his turn to go to the park. If you have a hoard of tennis balls lying around, fear not because Xander will chase after them until the sun sets. He will fetch anything for you, especially sticks.

Xander will always have a smile on his face every morning you wake up. He is the perfect dog for a family with other dogs, and would love to live in an active household.

The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
