Facts about Kenyi

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Kenyi was relinquished by his owner to his dismay.   Kenyi was an illegal pet based on weight.  He is also a puppy yet and the owner was not able to give him enough exercise.  He is very active and still a puppy.  He needs alot of training and is not housebroken.  He is kennel trained and likes to chew.

If you are interested in Kenyi, please visit him at The Animal Welfare Friends Shelter in Monticello.  The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 to 6:30 PM.

A home visit is part of our adoption process.

The adoption fee is $175 unless otherwise stated. The fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lymes test, heartworm and flea preventative, testing and treatment for a variety of intestinal parasites and vaccinations.

Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we cannot guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.

About Animal Welfare Friends

Our Adoption Process...

*Most of our dogs' adoption fees are $175 unless stated otherwise. Our cat adoption fees are $75. We have an all volunteer staff so your entire fee goes towards saving AWF's rescue animals. If your donation covers that pet's medical costs, then the remainder of your donation will go towards helping save another homeless pet!
.
*All Pets in the adoptive home must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed and/or neutered.
