Roxy in DFW's Story...
Roxy is a lovely, 10-yr-old lady who was surrendered to IGCA Rescue after the human children were born. She's not sure why, because she was always nice to them. We are happy to have her in our program because she is such a delight! This blue pied beauty likes dogs, kids and all people. She isn't really sure about the cats in her foster home but she isn't aggressive toward them at all. (They do occasionally steal her bed, though!) She is very social and can fit into just about any family situation! Roxy has had her name since she was a puppy so she would love to keep it!

Roxy is a great companion dog and still loves to play! She fancies herself the Princess of the house and earns her title with her grace, charm and endearing cuddles. She could easily be an only dog or live with another IG or two, as long as they know she is the Princess! She isn't pushy at all but would probably prefer not to be bossed around by another girl. Roxy has mastered the dog door and is very well-behaved. She sleeps sweetly in a dog bed next to her foster parents every night.

Roxy is fully vetted and ready to meet you! If you are looking for a sweet companion who still has plenty of spunk, then Roxy is your girl! Once you meet her, you will fall in love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy in DFW, a Argyle Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Argyle, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Argyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Argyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Argyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Argyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
