My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We generally stay local but when we received an email from someone who had seen a little dog in a high kill Shelter going crazy, stressed and shaking, we could not refuse to take her. This is from her foster Mom Connie:

Apple is a sweet female Fox Terrier with a smooth coat, black and white. She was surrendered to a kill shelter by her owners when they decided to move without her. After 5 years in a home she was suddenly in a kill shelter. She was so scared her whole body was shaking.
Now that she is back in a home, she is a happy girl. A little fearful till she gets to know you, but, she is great with other dogs and loves to play with squeaky toys. Apple has had her shots and is ready for a forever home.
So many dogs are adopted from Shelters and are brought back after sometime when the dogs doesn't fit the people's plans anymore. How sad is that.
Sad when they are strays but also terribly sad when they put their trust in someone and loved them, then abandoned them, All of us who rescue have a hard time to understand that!! Please watch her freedom video when she walked out of the Shelter!!!
If you would like to meet this incredible sweet girl please fill out the application. Her foster mom is in Tampa but that is not an issue!! Hope to hear from you soon.
Our Rescue does offer to adopters pet insurance with Embrace. The first two months only cost $1.00 then you can decide if you wish to keep going. Great way to have your little one protected!!
